The initial consultation requests only your name, email, state or county and a general description. Do not send an SSN, ITIN, passport, bank account, password or tax document through the initial form.

If you hire PowerTAX, we provide an authorized method for the documents required for the service.
Use of information
We use information to answer inquiries, prepare Tax Returns and ITIN matters, provide administrative services and perform work you authorize.
Software and providers
PowerTAX uses professional accounting and tax-preparation software, which may include QuickBooks and systems compatible with IRS e-file. Necessary providers and government agencies may process information for the authorized service.
Security
This site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no Internet system can guarantee absolute security.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Necessary information may be shared with agencies, service providers or authorized professionals for the contracted work, with consent or as required by law.

Tax information confidentiality
Information provided for Tax Return preparation is used for that purpose and permitted auxiliary services. We do not use or disclose it to offer unrelated products or services without the specific consent required by law, unless a legal exception applies.
Security incidents
If an incident affects private information, PowerTAX will investigate, take reasonable containment measures and provide notices required by applicable law.
Cookies, links and children
The site may use basic technical functions needed to operate. External links have their own policies. Services are not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy for legal, technical or operational changes. The update date appears at the top of the page.
